it is open to anyone with an interest in fishing boats

Aims:
1)To encourage awareness of our Maritime Heritage with special regard to the fishing industry of the past.
2)To represent owners of such vessels.
3)To encourage research in the historical and social elements of fishing boats, and to encourage liaison between boat owners, museums, businesses, heritage centres, trusts, similar organisations, fishermen and individuals.
4)To encourage restoration of such vessels before it is too late.
5)To act as a link between similar organisations in the European Union.
6)To lobby Government to recognise the importance of our Maritime Heritage, and to act upon it before it is too late.
