Improved Civil/Military Flags sets
These
flag sets are designed to replace the default Kinetic country flags
in the BMPFlags folder. They provide both updated data and additional
flags.
There
are two sets available with for standard (20 x 20) or wide (40 x
20) bitmaps, within additional options for a registration prefix
set and dark backgrounds for the military roundels.
The
sets are:

The
flag sets above will not display in BaseStation unless this updated
Countries.dat file is installed.
The
DAT file is a separate zip because it is undergoes frequent revision/update.
It contains all known country and military Mode S allocations to
date.
This
file is updated as new information is discovered - usually quarterly.

Alternative flag sets
These
are three variations on the above file sets. Sets 1 or 2 must already

Airline
Logos
|
|
With the release of BaseStation 1.1.130 it is now possible to show
operator logos in the Aircraft List.
To
display the logos you must install a set of bitmaps in the OperatorFlags
folder. To
trigger the bitmap you must edit the aircraft record by adding the
ICAO Operator code (like BAW for British Airways) in the OprFlagCode
field - or use a utility like SBSPopulate to do this automatically.

Operator Logo Starter Pack
Size
85 x 20
This
is a starter set of just over 1300 logos for use with the new BaseStation
1.1.1.130 software. It contains most of the frequently seen operators
within Europe whether airlines, executive aircraft, business aircraft
or even flying club - provided they use an approved ICAO Operator
code. In addition a full set of worldwide military logos are provided.

Aircraft Silhouettes by Ian
Kirby
85
x 20
Ian
has provided a large set (and still growing) of aircraft silhouettes
to complement the logo sets from myself and Jack Ford. The aircraft
silhouettes were originally provided to show bitmaps for light aircraft
which would never have an operator logo but demand has seen Ian
extend coverage to encompass many more military and civil aircraft.

Borderless Logos - Mark
Coles
75
x 22
Mark
has created a 75 x 22 set of logos which may be more suitable for
users with limited screen space. Mark's logos are "borderless"
in that the background colour blends into the SBS display to reduce
the boxy appearance of the logos. The collection also includes a
full set of military roundels.
Mark
has also produced a set of borderless country flags to complement
the logo collection.

Operator Logo Set - Andrew
Hay
60
x 22
Andrew
has provided a much smaller form factor of 60 x 22 for his logo
set and the illustration below shows that small doesn't mean any
loss in presentation or detail. Ideal for users with laptops or
small monitors - or users who find the larger sets too obtrusive.
