Welcome to the Perree Bane Home Page!

Perree Bane are a Manx traditional dance, music and song group based in Castletown on the  Isle of Man.

The group were formed in 1982 by Greg Joughin from Peel, with around a dozen members originally,  it has since grown to around fifty members of all ages and in some cases has become a family affair!

Our aim is to keep alive and to some extent extend the traditional Manx Dances and Music. To this end we perform at many venues on the Isle of Man and also at festivals and competitions further afield. We are a charitable organisation and charge no fee for our performances although we gratefully accept donations!
