
Directions: From Ramsey, take the coast road toward Laxey. After the first tram level-crossing, turn left after approx ½ mile (signed to Maughold). After a further ¼ mile there is a small turning to the left (just before the housing estate on the right).
Car Parking: Yes
Habitat: Dense bushes – mainly bramble, willow and hawthorn. Sheltered sandy beach and rocks at low tide.
Year round species: Finches, Goldcrest, occasional Blackcap, Oystercatcher, Redshank.
Summer Visitors: Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff
Passage Migrants: Warblers, flycatchers and waders
Winter Visitors: - Thrushes, sea-duck, grebes and divers
