Bishop's Dubh
Directions: From Ramsey, head toward Kirk Michael. About 1˝miles after Ballaugh bridge, there’s a small-ish pool below the level of the road on the right.
Car Parking: A bit ‘hairy’. Take great care when parking as this is a ‘fast’ and busy road.
Habitat: Open meadows, small shallow pool with muddy fringes.
Summer Visitors: Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Blackcap
Winter Visitors: Hen Harrier, Barn Owl, Snipe, Wigeon, Teal, Whooper Swan.
Recent Highlights: Common Crane, Spotted Crake, Bewick’s Swan
